Week 4 Data Collection

I wasn’t able to be in class this week, so instead of gathering data in class, I took a look at how our class used the blog. Specifically, I took a look at the frequency of certain words, similar to the State of the Union Adress database we examined.

  1. The most interesting thing to me here are the question words (who, what, why, etc.). This would be a worthwhile thing to track throughout the semester, both on the blog and in class: the way students ask questions, and whether certain kinds of questions are more prevalent than others.Reference
