Is There Something Else to Do?
My Twine story is titled “Is There Something Else to Do?”. This game seeks to make the user walk a mile in a COVID-19 quarantined person’s shoes. It criticizes the lifestyle that the COVID-19 forced us to live. In the game, the user interacts with two different virtual personas that meant to the author’s frustrated experience during the quarantine. Please be reminded that audio might be loud as it intends to immerse the user and the conversations might be hurting.

Blue Beard’s Body
The following Twine story is titled “Blue Beard’s Body.” This adaptation seeks to make contemporary the tale of Blue Beard as a means to engage in a discussion of sexual assault. For this reason, I’ll issue a brief trigger warning here. The game particularly deals with the nature of trauma and the recovery of memory in the aftermath of trauma. The audio and images are meant to be discomforting. You’ll notice the images are intentionally blurry and the audio is particularly loud.
Living in a Pandemic
The game is basically what it says in the title. Your task is to live in the CoVID-19 pandemic. You will make decisions that impact your everyday life. You will face obstacles along the way, but when you pass them you will be rewarded with the opportunity to keep playing. If you think that this game is too realistic then would be right. This game has everything a real pandemic has: choices, boredom, tiny moments of wit that cure boredom, and survival. The game also has an ending so that’s a big difference compared to the pandemic.
Rapunzel and the Rotten Egg

This game is a fun way to help you destress during this quarantine! Click here to save the day!
