Why Wouldn’t You Save the World? forces readers to see the facts. Climate change is real. It also comments on how big businesses haven’t taken any initiative on climate change even though they are in the best position to do so. Why Wouldn’t You Save the World? puts the decision in your hands, but is it the right one?

Am I The Asshole?
My project takes real people’s posts on the Reddit forum, Am I The Asshole? and changes various details, making the situation more or less absurd. I’m hoping to provide a humorous way to explore questions of right and wrong and to consider the ways we pass judgment on strangers with limited context.
“Love Me or Hate Me” Tracery Project
My project is a spoof on dating apps. It plays with the notion of digital mediation as an invasive character within intimate partnerships formed online. The app initially masquerades as just a really bad dating app that matches you with people you’d rather not date. By the end, the app falls in love with its user. The last line is meant to look like binary code. Try translating it!

Once Upon a Time…
Once Upon a Time… plays on traditional fairy tale tropes and draws attention to them through the hyperbole of the language and characterization. A Princess is kidnapped by a dragon and saved by a Prince. But will they live happily ever after?
“The Gospel According to Bernie Sanders”
https://bernie-gospel.glitch.me/
“The Gospel According to Bernie Sanders” is a work of combinatory writing that attempts to challenge popular thinking surrounding politicians and their role in the cultural schema of the United States. Putting the missions and stories of Bernie Sanders and Jesus Christ in conversation places into question the idea of American politicians as divinely sanctioned saviors and the legitimate capabilities of our leaders.
NCAA Broadcast Tracery Project
The NCAA Basketball Broadcast Generator generates what the broadcasters say at the beginning of every NCAA basketball game. The idea comes from watching multiple basketball games and noticing that there’s a bit of overlap between each broadcast. The link is https://western-blackbird-8e1efc2617.glitch.me/

As you read through the story, you can change certain text with the button below, but also beware, not all text is exactly as it seems.
