,,,,Sugar Plum sweetness floated past Gretel's nose and twinkled her awake from a deep slumber on her gingerbread bed. The sunrise peaked through the stained hard candy windows of the scrumptous (link: "cabin.")[cabin.

"All the candy I could dream of and even though I'm full, I can never stop [[eating->second]]!"]]The walls surrounding Hansel and Gretel are pure gingerbread and the [[candy cane]] roof above them is stitched together with frosting and [[gumdrops]]. The floor is crysalized hard candy sprikled with red [[skittles]]. The living room is adorned with two [[kitkat]] couches both with cotton candy pillows. The bedrooms can be picked out from the other rooms becasue of their regal [[starburst]] headboards that frame the [[twizzler]] comfitter and gingerbread mattresses. Side tables of ribbon candy hold [[jelly bean->hard lemon candy]] lamps."I wish I could walk you to school but I have to get to work. I packed your lunches they're sitting on the table. Gretel rolled her eyes as the door shut behind her mom. There is nothing new about this everyday routine. Mom takes off before the crack of dawn and leaves a trashy lunch.
In the paper lunch bag is a slice of cheese, two salami rollups and a small cup of apple sauce. "How does mom expect us to eat this? All I'm asking for is one piece of [[candy->scrumptous cabin]]."His mom hides the kitkats on the top shelf of the cabinet above the fridge.
Not for long.
Hansel leaned the stool ontop of the counter, a risky but rewarding decision if it hakes him tall enough to reach the cabinet.
With the broom in his hand he plied the door open and sweeped the [[kitkats->scrumptous cabin]] onto the floor. Before he finished chomping them down, he heard his mom fidgeting with the lock on the apartment door.

The paper was taped to a cauldron of candy on the doorstep of one of Hansel and Gretel's neighbors on the night of halloween.
"Odds you take the whole bowl, Gretel." Hansel snickered as the two of them ran to the door. Hansel was Superman and Gretel was the wicked witch of the west.
"Odds you take the bowl itself!" Gretel yelled back as she poured every last [[gumdrop->scrumptous cabin]] from the bowl into her candy sack. Hansel then grabbed the cauldron and threw it in his sack as they leaped off the doorstep with no regrets. "Please not today! My dad packed my favorite, [[skittles->scrumptous cabin]]."
