The premise of this out-of-class lab is simple: watch an episode of <em>Black Mirror<\/em> and make connections to this class.<\/p>\n<h4>The details:<\/h4>\n<ol>\n<li>Choose any episode from the first three seasons of <i>Black Mirror<\/i> (except for &#8220;The Entire History of You&#8221;). The series is <a href=\"https:\/\/www.netflix.com\/title\/70264888\">on Netflix<\/a>, which I trust you have access to.<\/li>\n<li>Watch it! Watching with friends in the class is fine. You&#8217;ll each write your own lab report.<\/li>\n<li>Connect the episode to at least one of our <a href=\"http:\/\/courses.digitaldavidson.net\/dig101-2017\/calendar\/\">course readings<\/a>, showing how the episode illustrates, extends, or challenges that reading.<\/li>\n<li>Use a single shot from the episode as a starting point. Include a screenshot of that scene at the beginning of your lab report.
